What is EGMO?
The European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad is an international competition in mathematics aimed at female high school students, whose commitment to mathematics goes beyond the usual school curriculum. To participate in the Olympiad, students have to qualify in their respective national competitions. EGMO 2023 will take place in Portorož, Slovenia, from 13th to 19th April 2023. We expect more than 250 participants and 120 team leaders from more than 60 countries.
Who are we looking for?
GUIDES
- to escort team leaders or groups of four
- contestants from one country and to help with leisure activities
- Portorož
- 13th to 19th April 2023
ASSISTANTS
- to help with organization
- Portorož/remotely
- flexible
What do we expect?
– fluent knowledge of Slovene and English,
– communicative and resourceful individuals,
– responsible and reliable work,
– presence in Portorož during the above-mentioned period*
What do we offer?
– accommodation and meals in Hotel Vile Park ***,
– transport from Ljubljana on Thursday, 13th April, in the morning and transport back to Ljubljana on Wednesday, 19th April, in the evening,
– participation in excursions,
– networking with potential employers,
– many new acquaintances and unforgettable experiences.
